How to Join the National Ecosystem?

The Department of Science & Technology periodically issues calls for proposals (CFPs) for research funding, incubation support, and testbed access. Academic institutions wishing to align their research laboratories, or startups developing hardware prototypes, can register through the T-Hubs.

By joining the ecosystem, entities gain access to shared fabrication facilities (cleanrooms), low-temperature dilution refrigerators, and regional fiber metropolitan testbeds. It also unlocks opportunities for joint collaborative projects with defense research labs (DRDO) and space telemetry divisions (ISRO).

Ecosystem FAQ Log

  • Is testbed access free?

Yes, approved startups and academic partners get subsidized or free access to DST funded infrastructure.

  • Who manages the directory?

The DST Frontier Technologies Division maintains and updates partner entries quarterly.
